Elementary Diver - Module 3

  1. Enter water with backward roll as if out of a RIB.
  2. Descend to bottom of pool and achieve neutral buoyancy without touching the pool bottom then swim 50 meters, remaining just off bottom (simulating diving over coral or silt)
  3. On bottom of deep end, loosen weight belt and re-tighten then remove completely and refit.
  4. On bottom of deep end breathe from free flowing regulator.
  5. From deep end, swim 50 meters with blacked out mask.
  6. At deep end, signal and start ascent. Hover a set distance off bottom for one minute to simulate safety stop. Upon surfacing, inflate BCD to achieve positive buoyancy.
