Elementary Diver - Module 3
|
- Enter water with backward roll as if out of a RIB.
- Descend to bottom of pool and achieve neutral buoyancy without touching the pool bottom
then swim 50 meters, remaining just off bottom (simulating diving over coral
or silt)
- On bottom of deep end, loosen weight belt and re-tighten then remove completely
and refit.
- On bottom of deep end breathe from free flowing regulator.
- From deep end, swim 50 meters with blacked out mask.
- At deep end, signal and start ascent. Hover a set distance off bottom for one
minute to simulate safety stop. Upon surfacing, inflate BCD to achieve positive
buoyancy.
